The Jacksonville Developers User Group was founded in January 2002 by Rod Sanford and David Strommer with the purpose of creating a community of software developers in the Jacksonville, FL. and surrounding area to share knowledge, network, learn new things, and write better code.
Our user group meeting is held on the first Wednesday of each month; with special interest group meetings through out the rest of the month. Many of our speakers are user group members, local technical professionals, and Microsoft Evangelists like Joe Healy, Joe Homnick, and Russ Fustino. Our alliance with INETA (International .NET Association) allows us access to many industry leading professionals that cover just about every facet of .NET. In addition to bringing industry leading .NET knowledge to Jacksonville FL., we encourage other platforms such as Java, PHP, Perl, Eiffel, C++, and all related technologies.
Membership
Jacksonville Developers User Group membership is free and open to everyone regardless of skill level or experience. Our membership is free because of the energy, enthusiasm, and generosity of the members and contributors. Simply attend the meetings and get involved.
